What is this region of the world like? Why should we care?
It’s a land where meager goods – like roosters – are brought to market on foot. It’s a land of need, of hope, of opportunity.
Haiti is regularly in the news, and the news is generally grim. However, in the mountains, members of Haiti Healthcare Partners are among dozens of American volunteers who have returned again and again to a mountain village, Cherident, in order to provide help and encouragement to the wonderful people in this region of Haiti. Their needs are many, but it is one place in the world where a little help can enormously benefit many deserving people.
The hope of Haiti lies in the lives of each young child who will benefit greatly from the help of Haiti Healthcare Partners.
