Haiti Healthcare Partners (HHP) is a tax-exempt charity (EIN 59-3814553) established in 2005 by a nationwide network of churches. HHP provides resources to continuously improve the medical care of thousands who live in the mountainous Grande Colline region in southern Haiti.
HHP’s creation was inspired by the vision and accomplishments of the late Episcopal priest, Pere (Father) Jean Wilfrid Albert, who lived in and led this community for nearly two decades.
Through the support of Haiti Healthcare Partners, the Jean Wilfrid Albert Medical Clinic opened in June 2006 in the Grande Colline village of Cherident, Haiti. HHP funds staff salaries, medicines, supplies and equipment, infrastructure improvements, and transportation. We also provide health care and nursing scholarships to aspiring Haitians. By helping the Haitians of Grande Colline help themselves, HHP is committed to saving lives, improving living conditions, and offering hope.
HHP seeks assistance through financial contribution, volunteer medical and mission teams, and supplies and medicines. We maximize the percent of all financial donations going directly to the work in Haiti. While Haiti Healthcare Partners adheres to the Christian ethics expressed by Pere Albert, we welcome assistance and participation from people of all faiths.
